So in an attempt to get the new year off to a good start we decided to try a “new” body of water. That being one we hadn’t done before. We decided on Wastwater.
It was one we’d spoken of often and having seen lots of pictures recently along with a favourable forecast off we went towards Wasdale. I must say it isn’t the easiest lake to get to however it is well worth it. Even with the low cloud it’s clear to see why it’s an area popular with walkers.
Anyway the route is attached to small lakes under pages but here are some pictures from today.
